Preview: Mystic looks for fifth straight against Blue Sox

The Schooners head into Friday night's slate riding a four-game win streak. Mystic is fresh off a 13-12 extra innings walk-off win, where Joel Collado (URI) delivered the game-winning RBI bunt single.

The Schooners go toe-to-toe with the Blue Sox in Friday’s matchup. Valley is coming off a 7-6 win over North Shore. Lucas Alberti delivered two RBIs in the win. The Blue Sox enter the game with a .211 team batting average, which is ranked ninth in the NECBL.

Mystic has scored 25 runs across their last two games. The Schooners sit atop the NECBL South standings with a 6-1 record.

Trace Hartman (Stetson) gets the ball for the Schooners on Friday. In Hartman’s last time out, he struck out five across three innings pitched.
