The Schooners finish their road trip with a game in Danbury on Monday, July 13. Mystic enters the night 17-11, while the Westerners sit 11-15 on the summer. The Schooners sit second in the NECBL South Division standings.

Mystic is coming off a 4-1 loss against Sanford, just their second road loss of the summer. Danbury is fresh off a 4-1 win against the best team in the league, the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks.

As a team, Danbury is hitting .243 this summer. Kyle Garbowski (Quinnipiac) has averaged .297, while driving in 15 runs and swiping seven bags.

Mystic comes into the contest averaging .239 as a team. In 17 games this summer, Joel Collado (URI) hit .353 with two homers and a triple.

Tristan Aasland (UConn) is Mystic’s probable starter. Aasland has made seven appearances this summer. In 10.1 innings pitched, he has recorded nine strikeouts. It will be Aasland’s first start of the summer.
