Coppola is a Somers, New Jersey native, most recently attending St. Joseph’s University. In his senior season, Coppola pitched to a 1.69 ERA across 37.1 innings pitched. Coppola fanned 69 hitters in the spring.

Coppola stands 6’5 and is 230 pounds. He played on the 2023 Collegiate National Team. The right-handed pitcher was named to the All-Freshman Team Big 10 after his rookie season at Rutgers University and All-Big Ten First Team in 2023.

Last summer with Mystic, Coppola struck out four across two innings pitched.
