Five Schooners participated in the NECBL All-Star Game on Sunday, July 26 at Goodall Park in Sanford, Maine.

Anthony Ruggiero, a rising sophomore at the University of Rhode Island, represented Mystic in the home run derby. Ruggiero ripped five homers in the contest.

Joèl Collado, an incoming junior at URI, was the Schooners only starter in the game. Collado was named the starting DH.

MJ Bollinger took the mound in the bottom of the fourth inning for the South. The UConn commit did not allow a hit in his outing, facing three for a scoreless outing. All three outs in the frame came via the groundout.

Connor Lane pitched the bottom of the sixth inning for the South. Lane is a rising sophomore at UConn. He struck out one and pitched a scoreless frame behind strong defense.

Stetson sophomore, Jack Harley, took the field in the bottom of the fifth inning at second base. In the bottom of the ninth, Harley moved to shortstop.
